Fodder for the Foodie: Have you been to Cured? Dan Carr of Visconti’s restaurant has
opened another successful business. Dan is making his own old world salumis and cured meats, and they are incredibly good!
In addition to artisan salumi, there is prosciutto d’parma, fresh Italian and Bavarian style sausages, home made jerky and
pepper sticks, landjaeger, smoked seafood and poultry, artisan cheeses, imported olives, dried Morel mushrooms, handmade
pastas, and much, much more. Cured is located at 636 Front Street, Leavenworth – next to Visconti’s gelato store. Yum Yum
